Terms of Service

1. Eligibility and account security

These terms are between you and Barış Durmaz, the individual developer operating CheckInDate. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use the service in your location.

You agree to provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and use CheckInDate only for legitimate personal social or dating purposes. You are responsible for activity that occurs through your account unless mandatory law says otherwise.

• Do not create an account for someone else without authorization.
• Do not share, sell, or transfer your account or access credentials.
• Do not continue using the service if you are under 18 or prohibited from using it by law.

2. The service and paid features

Some features are free and some may require a paid subscription or purchase. Available features, product limits, and eligibility rules may change as the service evolves.

If you purchase premium features through Apple, Google, or another app marketplace, billing, renewal, cancellation, and refund handling are subject to that store's rules in addition to any rights you have under applicable law.

Subscriptions purchased through the Apple App Store are auto-renewable. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, your subscription will automatically renew for the same period and at the then-current price, and your Apple ID will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscriptions from your Account Settings on the App Store at any time after purchase.

• The current iOS app offers premium plans in weekly, monthly, and quarterly billing periods as shown in the in-app purchase flow.
• Prices, plan durations, and feature bundles are controlled by the in-app offer shown at the time of purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that publication.
• Store-managed purchases may be renewed, cancelled, or refunded according to the rules of the store handling the transaction.

3. Your content and permissions

You retain ownership of content you upload, such as profile text, photos, messages, and support submissions. However, you give CheckInDate a limited license to host, process, store, reproduce, display, moderate, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service, investigate safety issues, and comply with law.

Private messages are stored so the messaging service can function, but CheckInDate does not routinely open or manually review them. Relevant message records may be reviewed when reasonably necessary for safety investigations, abuse prevention, support handling, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.

You must have the rights needed to upload the content you share. Do not upload another person's personal data, likeness, or protected content in a way that violates their rights or the law.

• This license exists only so the service can function, investigate issues, and meet legal obligations.
• You remain responsible for the lawfulness and accuracy of the content you submit.

4. Acceptable use and safety

You may not use CheckInDate for harassment, hate speech, threats, scams, spam, impersonation, underage access, stalking, ban evasion, scraping, reverse engineering, or misuse of location, reporting, subscription, or verification features.

You must also comply with our Community Guidelines. If content or conduct puts users, partners, or the platform at risk, we may remove content, limit features, require additional checks, or take account-level action.

• Do not misuse check-ins, nearby mode, or location signals to monitor another person.
• Do not use fake photos, deceptive identity information, or account farming techniques.
• Do not submit abusive reports, attempt payment abuse, or evade restrictions by creating replacement accounts.

5. Suspension, termination, and deletion

CheckInDate may warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that violate these terms, the Community Guidelines, payment rules, or applicable law. We may also preserve relevant records, including relevant message records, for fraud prevention, disputes, safety investigations, or legal compliance.

You may stop using the service at any time. Some deletion and export tools are available in the app, and broader requests may be handled through our Privacy Requests process.

• Possible account states currently visible in the app include temporary restriction, permanent ban, and deleted-account handling.
• Device-level restrictions may also be used where ban evasion or severe abuse is detected.
• Deletion of an account does not always require immediate deletion of all retained legal, billing, or safety records.

6. Disclaimers and limits of liability

CheckInDate is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee matches, compatibility, uninterrupted availability, or that every user interaction will be safe, successful, or free from abuse.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where the law does not allow exclusion. Subject to that rule, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

These terms are written to describe the service as it currently exists in the app and on the website, but they are not a substitute for local mandatory consumer protections.

7. Local law, store rules, and updates

If mandatory law in your place of residence gives you stronger consumer or privacy protections, those protections continue to apply. Country-specific or store-specific supplemental terms may also apply where required and will control to the extent of a conflict.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may provide additional notice through the website, the app, or the applicable store listing.
