Report an Incident

If a profile, message, or interaction on CheckInDate feels unsafe or deceptive, use the in-app report flow when possible and contact support if you can no longer access the account.

Emergency note

If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, contact your local emergency services first.

Inappropriate photos

Profiles using sexual, graphic, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate images can be reported directly from the app.

Harassment or bullying

Use the report flow if someone is threatening, abusive, coercive, or repeatedly contacting you after you have set a boundary.

Spam, scams, or fake profiles

Report requests for money, suspicious off-platform behavior, spam, or profiles that appear fake or misleading.

Underage or other safety concerns

If a profile appears underage or the issue does not fit the standard categories, you can still report it and add extra detail.

What to include

  • The profile name and any identifier connected to the account, if available.
  • What happened and which report reason best matches it.
  • Approximate date and time of the incident.
  • Any screenshots, message excerpts, or other evidence you can safely share.
  • Whether you already blocked the account or need follow-up outside the app.

What happens next

1

1. Open the report flow

From the user's profile or chat options, choose Report and select the reason that best describes the issue. If you no longer have access to the profile, email support instead.

2

2. Add details and submit

You can include optional additional detail before sending the report so the review has more context.

3

3. Block if needed

After submitting a report, the app can prompt you to block the account so the person can no longer contact you.

4

4. Review and enforcement

Depending on the severity and account history, CheckInDate may review relevant profile, report, and conversation records tied to the incident, then warn, restrict, suspend, or permanently ban the reported account.
